In 2014 Coop Denmark saw three specific challenges in their future:

  • Consumers were increasingly seeking new digital solutions to reduce friction and save time while buying groceries
  • Consumers were consuming media in new ways resulting in decreasing returns on traditional media programs
  • Consumers were changing their food habits resulting in less visits to physical stores
